‘PLAY CHURCH’ TODDLER GROUP. Held every Wednesday during term time in Blofield Church – it’s fun, friendly and free! 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Parents, grandparents and carers all welcome to come and join this successful and friendly toddler group where the children learn in a welcoming, safe and well-resourced setting run by experienced, early years volunteers. Healthy snacks and refreshments are provided for adults and children. There is no fee for the session but a donation bowl is available if you wish to contribute. POPPIES COMMUNITY CAFE. We meet every Wednesday from 10.00am until 12.00 noon in Blofield Courthouse. There is disabled parking and a ramp for easy entry. Come and join us for good food, company and friendship. You will be offered a selection of savouries, cakes, biscuits and tea or coffee, all for a small donation which helps to pay the rent. Come along each week for a happy time and a sing song.
Broadland Older Peoples Partnership. Broadland Older Peoples Partnership (BOPP) is the Older Peoples’ Forum for the Broadland District. It is open to all Older People in Broadland and membership is free. We are a voluntary organisation, founded in 2002, run by its members, and supported by both Broadland District Council and Norfolk County Council. BOPP are holding their next free Open Meeting on Friday 20th October at Blofield Courthouse, 9.30am to commence at 10.00am. The theme of this meeting is “Living Well with Reduced Mobility”. There will be speakers, information and refreshments.
Event Theatre at Blofield Courthouse – Billy Elliot the Musical Live (2014) – (15). A talented young dancer has to learn to fight for his dream despite social and parental disapproval. Tea, Cake & Chat Afternoon – This returns after two months off, come and join is for tea, cake and a chat at Heathlands on Tuesday October 24th from 2.00pm to 4.00pm – come along and bring a friend too !
BADCOG – Blofield and District Conservation Group. Work party at Howes Meadow between 10.30am and 1.00pm.
Blofield Tennis Club Craft Fayre – Blofield Tennis Club are holding a CRAFT FAYRE on Saturday 4th November 2017. 10.00am – 3.00pm at Margaret Harker Hall, Yarmouth Road, Blofield NR13 4LE. Entry is FREE. Come browse the different crafts. We’ll have jewellery, cards, felting, preserves, a plant stall and much, much more. Take a break from browsing and enjoy tea/coffee, sandwiches and cake!
All proceeds from table hire and refreshments will go to Blofield Tennis Club.
Local History Day – Blofield Church. 10.00 am to 4pm – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow – enjoy a glance into the past with old maps, documents and photos of people and places you may recognise.
Blofield, Brundall & District Pensioners’ Association – Our next meeting will be on Monday, 6th November at Blofield Courthouse, commencing at 2pm.
We welcome Christine Wheeler from Brundall Area Community First Responders who will give a demonstration of how to use a defibrillator. She will also update us on simple first aid that we may need at home.

Acle Safer Neighbourhood Team Surgery – We will be holding a surgery at Heathlands on Tuesday 7th November between 2.00pm and 3.00pm, if you have any concerns please come along and have a chat.

Christmas Fair at Heathlands – 2.00pm onwards. Lots to do and things to buy, Fantastic gift stall, Cake stall, Large Raffle, Tombola, Bottle Stall, Games for the children to take part in and lots more. Please do come along and join us. Refreshments in the hall – and the Beer Festival will be in the Social Club, so the whole family can come and enjoy the fair and then have a pint !
