Friday 8th

Come and celebrate 10 years of films with us.

Blofield Court House Village Screen Friday 8th March. KING OF THIEVES (15).  The incredible true story of the spectacular Hatton Garden diamond heist, the biggest and most daring in British history, humorously told through career best performances from a stellar cast which includes Sir Michael Caine, Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone, Michael Gambon, Tom Courtenay and Charlie Cox. Shane Brown and the Thomas Howe Quartet

Blofield Court House – Friday 29th March.   Friday 29th March sees the Thomas Howe Quartet joining forces with Shane Brown for a special concert raising funds for The People’s Picnic, a Norwich charity providing the homeless of the city with hot meals and essential supplies from clothes through to sleeping bags.  The Thomas Howe Quartet is made up of Thomas on piano, Rob Milne on saxophone, Afonso Froes on bass, and Azzy King on drums.  Together and separately they have been delighting audiences locally and further afield with their fresh takes on jazz standards and beyond.  Vocalist Shane Brown makes his first return to the Blofield and Brundall area in five years, performing with the quartet for an evening of music centred on classic songs from the Great American Songbook.  Bar available.

Tickets are £6 and are available from S & S Mitchell Newsagents in Blofield, or on the door.

Sunday 28th 

GIANT CRAFT & FOOD FAIR  Doors open 10.00am – 3.00pm.  Margaret Harker Hall, Yarmouth Road, Blofield, NR13 4LE.  Free entry. In the Margaret Harker Hall and Scout Hall, you’ll find a fantastic range of craft stalls selling jewellery, cards, soaps, preserves, plants and much, much more.  Our popular refreshment stall will be back selling hot drinks, cakes, sandwiches and sausage rolls. GREAT BRITISH TENNIS WEEKEND  From 11am to 3pm Blofield Tennis Club is having its annual Open Day.  We have 4 grass courts and 1 hard court.  Come along and play – all age groups and abilities.  Refreshments available.  Special offers for new members and free coaching for adults and children throughout the day.  To book a junior taster session call Chris on 07869 037556.  Fund us behind the Margaret Harker Hall on Yarmouth Road, Blofield.
