A weekend of music in Blofield Church

The ‘Hexachordia’ group presents –

A workshop style potted history of music and musical instruments

from earliest times through to the Baroque era.

This is called “Is that a Crumhorn?”

During refreshments you can ask questions and see the

instruments up close. Very suitable for adults and teenagers.

Saturday November 16th at 3 pm.

Entry £2 at the door with refreshments.


A concert by ‘Hexachordia’ ‘Puddings and Pies’ – a rich menu of music & song washed down with poetry and verse. Some 16th and 17th century music; Hexachordia – 3 musicians with 12 early instruments.  You will hear bagpipes, crumhorn, flute, gittern, guitar, lute, organ, rauschpfife, recorder, shawm, viols, virginals & voice.

Sunday November 17th at 3 pm

Tickets £10 at the door include wine and delicious refreshments.
