Notice of Appeal for Land at Clarkes Loke, Blofield Heath for Erection of House & Garage.

The above mentioned Appellant has appealed to the Planning Inspectorate against the decision of Broadland District Council to refuse permission for the above development.

The Planning Inspectorate has accepted the appeal and decided to determine the matter on the basis of the written procedure, where they will only consider written evidence from the Appellant, Broadland District Council and anyone else who has an interest in the appeal. A copy of the Planning Inspectorate’s booklet ‘Guide to taking part in planning appeals’ is available free through ‘publications’ on the website

Broadland District Council’s reasons for refusal, a copy of the application and plan(s) showing the location of the site, the Appellants grounds of appeal and Broadland District Council’s Statement may be inspected it Broadlands Office, between the hours of 8.30am to 5,00pm Monday to Friday. The Statement will be available for inspection by 9th January 2018.

It is therefore open to you submit your comments, in writing (three copies), by 9th January 2018, direct to the Planning Inspectorate, Room 3P, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN, quoting the appeal reference above. Failure to comply with these deadlines will mean your view is not taken into account.

Written comments can only be taken into account providing they are made known to the parties and therefore will be sent to the Appellant and Broadland District Council.

Copies of representations received by Broadland District Council in respect of the proposed development have already been sent to the Planning Inspectorate and the Appellant and those views will be taken into account by the Planning Inspectorate in determining the Appeal. This does not, however, preclude the submission of additional comments if desired, or the withdrawal of your original comments.
